Jumping Rope

Mike and the boy jumped rope this morning. It's important to start each day with some exercise.

Well ladies and gentlemen, apparently April won't be a better month for posts than March. Geez o Man (remember, I'm from the West coast, so if I spelled that wrong, sorry Clevelanders!) - I am a big slacker.

In my (slight) defense, Will and I have both been sick all week. Monday night he puked everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE - hall, bed, bathroom, etc. Then later that night he had croup. Took him to the doc the next day and it turned out his rash of the week before, and the croup were a virus. The puke was an extra sensitive gag reflex. (yuck) And all of that would have been no big deal, except for the double ear infection. So he's on antibiotics. . . etc.

In addition, my pregnancy (of which I'd been handling the morning sickness pretty well - to the point where I'd begun saying that I didn't really feel pregnant at all - teach me to speak too soon), turned mean this week, the hormones hit with a vengeance, and I'm struggling to keep down food.

Add to this that last night Mike came home from work with a sore throat, and I think I can safely say we've had not such a nice week. :)

Poor Mike, he's not feeling well, he's a saint helping me with Will and not complaining that I'm not cooking anything of substance.

Here's hoping that this week to come is a bit easier!

The Zoo

William, Mike and I went to the zoo a couple of Fridays ago. William was fascinated by pretty much everything, and standing by the elephant with buses driving by caused much distraction. "Do I look at the elephant, do I look at the bus?" :)

He also saw lions, and pigs, and ducks ("kak, kak" Will says). . .

A better month. . . I promise!

Hello all the Knotts family fans. :) I'm so sorry that March was such a lean month for posts. . . I'll try to be better this month. In fact I'm currently just uploading pictures from March to today, just to make up for it. These two pictures were from a nice gentleman and his wife that we met on the beach on St. Patty's day. They were there with their twins, and Will was so excited to see them, he made friends. One thing led to another, and we became involved in a photo shoot! I tell you, our little boy is quite a ham. Although these pictures are pretty funny!
