Julia's 4th Birthday and Memorial Day!

We had a party for memorial day and our friend Julia's 4th birthday. It was great fun - cupcakes, eating outside, pink and purple streamers, the works. Will's been talking about it ever since.

Also they play together!

Sissy and Will make concerted efforts to be a part of each other's play-world now. Sissy always diving out of my arms hoping to play with Will, and Will is always running around like a clown trying to get Sissy laughing hysterically. Most of the time it works. Besides the odd fight over toys, and the constant teaching Will how not to take something (anything) out of Sissy's hands, it's brilliant! :)

What have we been doing??

Naked days, naked days! Why? The doctor said to potty train "cold turkey," my friend says "Cold is right!"

How big was it? SOOOOO big!!! He gets chocolate chips when he goes in the pot. . . he likes it.
This is where you go. . . it helps having it outside, plus it's nicer for mom - a better view!

Me and the Kids

What do I look like most of the time? Something like this. Hectic, happy, motion-filled, arms-filled with wiggly kids who both weigh a ton more than you'd think! Motherhood - the happiest, craziest, busiest job I'll ever have.

Sissy Eating Carrots!

Grandma Knotts came to visit Auntie Joyce, and we got to see her! It was also the day we gave Sissy her first carrots. She was pretty darn happy. Why? She likes food. She's a Knotts, what can I say?

Big Boy Underwear or The Perpetrator, The Deed, The Crime, Part II - Like Father, Like Son.

The question is. . . how do you wear these things? On your butt, on your head, there are so many ways! Growing up is so much fun, especially when you get to drag your sister into the play. Poor girl, she never knew what hit her. Plus, she can't even crawl to get away yet. Although, she seems pretty happy to oblige Will's sense of humor. I'm guessing Mike's going to be laughing his head off at work when he sees this. . . here is the innocent, coyly looking out from behind mommy's knee.

Here is the crime, and the run away. . .

Poor darling. This is not going to be the worst of it either, I'm afraid.

Followed by the chat-up so Sissy feels loved and happy. . . that's my schmoozy son!

Boy, she can wear anything and still look cute!
