So this morning I step outside to turn on the sprinkler and come back in and there is the boy standing up by the coffee table! He looked all proud like "look what I did without you, Ma, and look at this cool magazine I want to eat!" After a massive photo session Mike came home for lunch and William repeated the new skill for him. :)

Standing and Cruising
So that didn't take too long - last night after standing up on his own, he pulled himself up on the couch, then cruised over a couple of steps. He stood for close to half an hour before bed - and boy did he sleep well last night.

STANDING!
William stood up today without any help by grabbing the stroller and pulling himself up!
He thinks it's pretty cool to do that. Although I've never seen a boy try so hard not to crawl while crawling! He's hilarious - he's crawling as if he'd prefer to walk - toes up and he can move so fast now! We were eating dinner last night and all of a sudden he sprint-crawled across the room; our eyes got so big watching him go so determinedly. Looks like I'm in for a long couple of years running after him! :) It's my pleasure to do it!

My Dad in the Philippines!
Oh my gosh, you guys, my dad is SO cool! He went to the Philippines with a group of guys and they built building for some people over there who needed them. I missed him a lot - but I'm glad he got to go. This is a picture of him with the guys he was building with. I think they look like they had fun!
