Water Play

So today was a complete battle. Will woke up with the energy of ten two-year olds, and I woke up pregnant (still) and tired. Between the battles though, we had some exuberant fun: such as, playing tackle tickle (which is just what it sounds like, he tackles me, I tickle him), moving pebbles around and splashing in water, and the be-all-end-all for Will: Mama letting him water the plants! He loves it when I water, so I told him he could go out and water for me. Of course only one plant got watered, but boy did he have fun doing it.

Needless to say, I am going to sleep well tonight. After I find a sprinkler to set up for tomorrow.

6:50 am

Okay, so between the three of us, none of us could wait until 7am to get up and show William his new toy! :)

Is this for me? You realize its serious work this digging in the tray.

An old picture, but how cute!

This is William hiding between the wall and the fridge. He thinks it's hilarious. I love it.

Things I can do one-handed. . .

You know what I was thinking just now? I was thinking that I have mastered the art of holding Will with one arm while doing things with the other. Things I can do one-handed:

- laundry: including loading, starting, and transferring loads
- vacuuming: we're actually working on making Will less scared of the vacuum, but for a while the only way it would work is if I held him to show it was okay. . .
- cooking dinner: yes, including stirring hot things (I'm sure I get a demerit for that, but Will loves to watch the pots)
- blogging and emailing: self-explanatory - one-handed typing.
- unloading groceries from the car or the bags.

:)

I've got skills.
