He's the Sheriff in this town.

So it's been SO hot here (as Will says "'aw. . .t") that we spent most of today inside. To keep things interesting we did a photo shoot with the Knotts hat. It's got a whistle in case I get out of line, so that's good.

Other inside activities:
- Tossing Will on the count of three onto the bed, followed by a giggle fest. (I figure he's learning to count to three, right?)
- Putting Will in the diaper box and sliding him around the room making "vrrmmm" noises. (No educational merit except perhaps learning the vrrmm noise.)
- Playing with the block sorter. (Massive educational opportunities here.)
- Learning to climb on the diaper box. (Gross motor skills.)

My Boy and Bananas

My boy is big enough to eat a banana all on his own. Sigh. This all goes so fast!

Coasters and Tidying.

I have a wonderful son. For some reason he's decided that sippy cups and bottles go on coasters. Even if the coaster is on the floor. AND, get this: yesterday I had to sweep, and he wanted to help. This morning he got up and asked for the broom. :) Music to a mother's ears. Or eyes. Or both.
