Drummer Boy

Yesterday I was cleaning up after lunch and the kids were playing in Will's room. I hear drumming, and go to investigate the amazing drumming skills of my boy. I find that he has created a true drum set. The base is provided by a tray, then an upside down block box, then the drum. The seat is, appropriately, a small potty chair. Here he is playing loudly.



Then quietly.



And here is his muse. No wonder he plays so well.

Waxing Mike's Surfboard

After Mike came back from surfing, he left his surfboard outside for some waxing. Will got in on the act.



He's very serious about the chores Mike gives him.



But he'll smile when told to! ;)

Jehovah's Witnesses and Crayons

I know, it doesn't seem like a logical combination. But, there's a knock at the door, and the Jehovah's Witnesses have all sorts of things to say. . . then I turn around and Will's been practicing not coloring or writing, as I thought he would be - but balancing crayons on his ears.






He's actually quite good at it. Think he saw Mike doing this. . .that's my only thought as to where this one came from!
